We are a passionate family team that loves coming to work every day. Not only do we get to see each other at the office, we also get to work with amazing people every single day. We are fortunate to have created a business that "doesn't feel like work" because we have so much fun doing it!
Our team offers uniquely qualified representation as Jeff & Lynn have been in in real estate since 1991. And the kids have been exposed to it their whole lives.
Separately, we bring different personalities and expertise to your transaction. Together, we offer un-paralleled service and attention to detail.

JEFF & LYNN MARCHANT
Many people wonder how Jeff & Lynn have worked side by side for so many years, and still have a strong relationship. They have been able to thrive TOGETHER because they acknowledge the strengths and weaknesses of each other and are always pushing to get better in both a personal aspect and in the work environment. They also enjoy a 2+ hour walk with their puppy, Desi, every single Sunday morning. This is THEIR TIME to talk about their family, goals and aspirations. Even though they work together, live together and dream together, they still can't get enough of each other!
JEFF MARCHANT
Jeff was born with an entrepreneur’s heart, always wanting to be in charge of his own circumstances. Owning and managing a successful landscaping company for 13 years was fun and lucrative, but that was not enough. Those years were also spent finding, fixing, flipping, financing and holding real estate and helping others succeed at doing the same. Jeff stepped away from the landscape business in 2003 to concentrate on real estate full time and has never looked back. A very small percentage of Realtors personally invest in the products they sell.
Jeff offers knowledge and insight to buying, selling, and investing that can only be gained by completing several dozen personal transactions. As a Realtor, many of Jeff’s clients have assumed that their transaction must have been the smoothest one he has ever completed. This is exactly the kind of experience he strives to provide for ALL his clients. When you work with Jeff, you will undoubtedly feel his genuine love for helping people and will most likely benefit from his brilliant negotiating skills.
After hours, you can often find Jeff enjoying nature at his secluded mountain cabin, relaxing on the back porch and enjoying a glass of wine or with an open book. Jeff is passionate about learning and you can catch him listening to an audio book or podcast in the car, while he walks the dog or even each morning while he is working out. Jeff lives by the saying "it is what it is," and he uses it as a constant reminder when emotion strikes all the girls in the office. He is also the chef of our family, and you can count on the whole family when he is making ANYTHING on his Traeger Grill!
LYNN MARCHANT
Lynn represents her family as the fourth generation of women in real estate. Having acquired a degree in Finance from BYU, you would think it is all about the numbers for Lynn. True, she is a master of the books, but Lynn really shines because of how much she cares about other people. This need to help others led to the creation of Nu-Start Properties, Inc., a company that offers a "new start" to both properties and people. Lynn has personally been in the trenches since the early 1990’s building a portfolio of single-family homes and multi-unit buildings which she continues to manage. She offers nice, clean, affordable housing with the hope that one day she will help her tenants become homeowners.
Lynn has also developed a love for passing on her knowledge of the industry to her clients. She will spend hours on the phone offering advice and answering questions because she truly CARES. When you work with Lynn, you will always feel like you are her only client because she will always drop what she is working on to answer your call.
After hours, you can find Lynn running up in the mountains, at Orange Theory, the gym, a get together with her friends or maybe even at the office! Lynn LOVES to stay busy and feels her best when she doesn't have any time for the extras. She believes that "where there's a will, there's a way," and she emulates that in her every day life. On the weekends, if she isn't out with clients, you can find her blasting techno music while she organizes her house. However, it isn't all work for Lynn, she also has a license plate that says "Just Live" and does just that every single day. Holidays are Lynn's specialty and she is sure to make each one memorable for every one of her family members.
ASHLEY MARCHANT TAYLOR
Ashley has a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting from Westminster College where she played collegiate volleyball for four years. She went on to obtain a Master's of Accountancy with an emphasis in Tax from the University of Utah. While going to school she held a position at Goldman Sachs, and after graduation she started working full-time at Deloitte where she became a CPA. However, in 2016 she had a baby girl and her focus made a dramatic shift from building her own success to working towards a future for her family.That is when she joined us at The Marchant Real Estate Group and Nu-Start Properties.
Her education, accounting experience and team involvement as a collegiate athlete has allowed her to look at our business from a different perspective and push us forward toward new systems, goals and relationships. She currently serves as the Transaction Coordinator for Marchant Real Estate Group, and assists with managing Nu-Start Properties tenant accounts and communication. When you work with Ashley, you will most likely receive more detail and follow-up than you ever wanted. She is always working to take our business to the "next level" and is excited for our future endeavors.
After hours you can find Ashley spending time with her husband, two daughters, and her Australian Shepherd. They love to go on adventures and are often playing in the backyard, hiking, camping, at a sports game or dancing around the house to loud music. She also wishes she was a Master Chef and enjoys using her creativity to make her food look "pretty." Ashley strives to live in the present and make every day better than the last.
SYDNEY MARCHANT ANDERSON
Sydney is our adventurous spirit. She ventured out of state to play collegiate volleyball and received an Associates Degree in Human Communication. She later completed her Bachelor's Degree at the University of Utah in Business Administration. While going to school, she worked as a manager for a financial institute. There she gained experience in team management and learned how to balance a heavy workload.
She is a licensed Realtor, making her a 5th generation real estate agent. She also is our Marketing Manager and has helped us transform the look and operations of our business through her natural creativity, organization and efficiency. She greatly assists with client experience for Marchant Real Estate Group and tenant communication for Nu-Start Properties. When you work with Sydney, you will gain a new friend and be inspired by her persistent positivity and love for life!
After hours, you can find Sydney, her husband and her daughter, finding ways to be outdoors, stay active and get together with friends. Sydney is a born entertainer. She is innately creative and may one day leave us to become a event planner/coordinator.
CHASE MARCHANT
Chase may be the youngest, but he is the calm and collected of the group. Always thinking of how his actions will affect others. He and his wife bought their first home at the young age of 21 and are looking to buy a second. He has dabbled in many different fields of work, from customer service to manual labor. Chase has always known his passion is to help others, and until now, struggled to find how he could do so.
He is a licensed Realtor, making him a 5th generation real estate agent as well. He is also our part-time handyman/landscaper for Nu-Start, helping to get our rentals back in peak shape for the next tenants. Chase, like all of the Marchant Real Estate group, will always put your needs above his own. Not driven by emotion, he can always take a step back to think of a situation logically. When working with Chase, you will be encouraged by his positive outlook and love for others.
After hours, you can find Chase spending time with his wife and fluffy Wolf Dog. If he is not with them, he is with Jeff either at their mountain cabin or Skydiving. He has listened to Jeff and Lynn talk about their experiences in real estate throughout his life and feels as if they're his own experiences. He says family is what is most important and tries to never miss an opportunity to make some happy memories.
